story
In my iphone app i am using pictures of my dog cookie that i have taken over the half term. The plot is that she has lost her toy and she is looking in funny place's to find it. The story line will become better throughout editing it.

marantz
we learnt how to use a marantz which is advanced sound recording equipment, even though it is advanced it is faitly easy to use. We learmt the basic things about it and how to use the two different types of microphones.
We also learnt all of the basic things that we can use it for, and how to format the memory card.
overall it is pretty easy to use.

interactive comic research : Hotel
The other interactive comic we looked at was hotel, this one is more digital and was made by computers unlike dead on arrival was a mixture of real life pictures when this one has little digital characters you can interact with.
I am not a big fan of this interactive comic really, i find it a little strange in some parts and confusing in others.
It is very strange and doesn't really have a story line. Which any comic usually has but you just need to make your own way around it.
I don't really have a lot to say about this interactive comic other than it's weird and confusing and this definitely wont influence whatever i am going to have to do for my final outcome.

interactive comic research : dead on arrival
we did some research on interactive comics and managed to find 2 different types of comic they are
photographed comics
&
digital designed comics.
here are some examples of the interactive comics i found on the internet.
Dead on arrival
This comic uses still imaging mostly but the colors are edited to make it feel more intense i think, they have used the idea of sin city's colors e.g.
sin city uses some colors to bring out the picture mainly red, but it makes the picture stand out more and i think it is very clever how they have done this in this way. As in this screen grab of dead on arrival the booklet is red but the people are in black and white,
This kind of effect makes it seem like more of a comic than just a few photos bunched together which i like, when we do our game/comic for the iphone i think my idea would be based around the colors and how much i like the way that one color always stands out.
